"Ronaldo's strategy for vindication." The ex-Al-Ahly coach forecasts China's destiny in Saudi Arabia.

A revelation regarding the Saudi Roshan League's progress was voiced by Al-Ahly's coach. The Saudi Roshen League experienced significant growth in the current season due to substantial contracts made by Saudi clubs. However, Vitor Pereira, a former Al-Ahly coach, expressed a different perspective. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper "Marca," Pereira mentioned, "Hiring highly skilled players and coaches won't necessarily guarantee a consistently strong league in the long run." Drawing a parallel, he referred to the case of China where heavy investments in experienced foreign players didn't yield expected results, leading to a halt in the investment. Pereira emphasized that for sustained success and a promising future, Saudi Arabia needs to heavily invest in training centers, academies, and the development of local coaches as the sole means to construct a resilient and enduring league. Shifting focus to Cristiano Ronaldo, the star player of Al-Nasr, Pereira highlighted, "For Ronaldo, being in Saudi Arabia represents a pathway to redemption and maintaining a sense of significance. Seasoned professionals like him need continued recognition, regardless of their age." Concluding his statements, Vitor Pereira noted, "Ronaldo's foresight and intelligence led him to understand that he could maintain a crucial role in Saudi Arabia, finding happiness by primarily playing and also representing the national team. Ronaldo appears genuinely content after a considerable time, illustrating the importance of feeling valued, which he has found in Saudi Arabia, along with the financial aspect, of course."
