 Arsenal vs Ac milan

Meanwhile, Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso has made three alterations to the team that featured last week, with Davide Calabria, Biglia and Bonaventura making way for Borini, Montolivo and Silva.
Arsene Wenger has decided to make two changes to the Arsenal side that started the first leg, with Bellerin and Monreal coming into the starting line-up to replace Chambers and Kolasinac.
Milan substitutes: Marco Storari, Mateo Musacchio, Cristian Zapata, Manuel Locatelli, Lucas Biglia, Giacomo Bonaventura, Nikola Kalinic.
Milan XI (4-4-2): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Fabio Borini, Leonardo Bonucci, Alessio Romagnoli, Ricardo Rodriguez; Suso, Franck Kessie, Riccardo Montolivo, Hakan Calhanoglu; Patrick Cutrone, Andre Silva.
Arsenal substitutes: Petr Cech, Calum Chambers, Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Mohamed Elneny, Eddie Nketiah, Alex Iwobi.
Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): David Ospina; Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal; Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka; Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere, Henrikh Mkhitaryan; Danny Welbeck.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
History is certainly on Arsenal’s side. They’ve progressed from each of their 11 previous European knockout ties when they’ve won the first leg away from home, and they’ve never failed to progress in a European competition after winning the first game by two or more goals.
The Rossoneri were able to return to winning ways on the weekend, albeit in dramatic fashion as Andre Silva popped up deep into injury time to salvage all three points for his side. Milan have now won their last five consecutive away games, setting them up nicely for this evening’s test.
Last week’s defeat was certainly a disappointing one for Milan, who have thoroughly impressed over the last couple of months. Arsenal are the only side to have beaten them in 2018, and they’ve won seven of their last eight games across all competitions heading into tonight’s hugely important clash.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aaron Ramsey both found the back of the net in Italy, bringing an end to a worrying four-game losing run in the process, and a clearly confident Arsenal side then went on to comfortably beat Watford on the weekend. With two away goals under the hosts’ belts, the first one tonight will be crucial.
Many Arsenal fans would have been expecting the worst when their side travelled to San Siro last week, but an out-of-form Gunners pulled off an excellent 2-0 win to give them a great chance of reaching the quarter-finals. The job is only half done, though, and it could end up being a tricky night for them if Milan are at their best.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Europa League last-16 second leg between Arsenal and AC Milan at the Emirates.
